I SO agree! The photographer I shoot weddings with takes our family photos every year, and I love it! I get to be in the photos, so I look like I’m part of our family too (ha!), and we all know that other people can get stuff from our kids that we can’t always get because, well, they’re our kids!

I completely agree. A friend of mine and I did a session swap. No fees and we exchanged the edited pictures afterwards. It was wonderful and we plan to do this every year!

Unless it’s my kid who no longer listens to me when I pull the camera out or you Brandy. LOL I’ll try not to do the same to this baby. hehe For me when you say “They don’t see how important these images are to you. They don’t understand how much you want beautiful images of you (who of course is never in any of the photos because you are always taking them)” fits my husband’s thoughts exactly. But he knows now he has no choice. :p

I’m with ya–it’s the one thing I know for sure: I cannot take a good family image with me in it!! Mine are scheduled with the fabulous, Tara Whitney, and I cannot wait to be on the other side of the camera!!!
